What is Direct Service of a bank?

The banking term of ‘Direct Service‘ (ダイレクト) is the services of deposit, withdrawal, money transfer, payment settlement, etc. general bank account management.
{一般銀行服務(ダイレクト)是指取存款、匯款、付款結算等一般賬戶管理服務。}
In Japan, a bank’s wide range of services with different homepages login sometimes confuse customers. For example, UFJ direct service homepage is separate from its credit card service (MUFG), customers will need to create different user name and password for the related service and so on to other banks of the above.

Nowadays, other than cash, debit or credit cards, it still has a few popular e-payment applications in Japan such as LINE Pay, PayPay (with English version). Those payment methods are mainly for small amount of purchase or bills payment. The application connects with the user’s bank account, it brings user’s a convenient and happy usage experience.
