GENDER #2 – What about men in Japan? How is their preferential treatment?

It is famous that Japan has a high level of ‘Male Chauvinism’. Since Japanese people have a serious preference for men to women, men who live in Japan should not have as much worry about their life as women do.

In Gifu prefecture (岐阜県), there is a government facilities group in Kani city (可児市), they created a training course for men and taught them how to use the gym centre’s facilities.

In Aichi prefecture, a government city centre created a flower arrangement course for men to learn how to make paper flowers for their beloved only.

On the entertainmentwise, from time to time, there are restaurants that offer men free beer for lunch.

There is also an ice-skiing tour created as a valentine tour for men only. Last Feb 14th of 2020, all men received a present of chocolate for a happy valentine!

Do you know there is a popular yoga studio called Lava? Their yoga members are also limited to men only.

We can learn one thing from Japanese society that they see women are weak and cannot hold up important responsibilities or take up a big challenge either.

Versus men are different, the government is much willing to input more resources onto them, to train them up to become stronger to take up some important roles for the society in the future.

That’s why their treatment of benefits is really more generous than women.
