The garbage recycle business in Japan is flourishing and it also has become a very important and competitive industry. You may not aware that they have an excellent and respectful garbage collection system running smoothly every day in the country and in fact, the system was started already in 1971.
There are many companies running the said recycle business, you might be able to find second hand shops near your place which you can also sell your valuable item such as used super brand sport shoes, some of them can also assist to handle the related recycling process for your non-sellable items at the end with charges.
However, if you have a highly valuable item to sell, you should try to sell it to a unique (online included) collection shop such as some for the second hand car, jewellery or kimono with a better offer. A warm tip to you, a larger group may be able to offer you a happier offer.
Alright, back to the bone of this topic of article, I am going to introduce you to 4 recycling organisations that I used to have good experience with. Let me give you an idea on how to register the related service as well as the related cost of spending, in case it has.
First of all, let me share with you 2 companies that I freely used their recycle collection service and also, I have successfully get the deal done and receive some little money from the recycle company.
Let’s dive in.
Oji Kaitori (王子買取)
Oji Kaitori is a platform allows you to sell your used item to them, no matter it is a 5-year depreciated rice cooker or super branding clothes, bags or accessories; if you thought they are still valuable and also, if it can be fit into a provided deliver box, you can send them for price evaluation process.
Per my last experience, they worked efficiently. I received money for a sold out item a week just after they finished the price evaluation process for my 2 sent item boxes of CDs, books and electronic goods.
This company did not postpone the payment process, vice versa, they pay immediately to my registered bank account. Besides direct payment, they also provide an Amazon coupon for choice. Also, if you prefer to keep the obtained amount (1 yen equal to 1 point scheme) under your user account, there is an interest points accumulation scheme for users, just like the normal way we obtain bank interest. What a thoughtful service, right?
The procedure is simple. First of all, go register your personal information under their website homepage with a decided delivery date for your selling item. Usually, they have a deliver calendar for your date and time choices, after selecting a delivery date, you will go to a choice section for sending by your own box or you request to have the selected box(es) sent to your place.
For delivery arrangements, it will just allow a maximum of two boxes each time. Besides, it also has a size limit on the box according to your selection of different items. The requested box will just be sent 1-2 days right before the item delivery date. After receiving the delivery box, you can start picking your item up and wait for the postman to come and pick up the box accordingly.
As Oji Kaitori is located in Osaka, Kansai, if you send a box from Tokyo, it usually takes 1 to 2 days to arrive. Oji Kaitori usually finish the price value evaluation within a day or more after the item is received and they will send you an email notification to inform you of the evaluated price value afterwards.
If you are fine and accept the price value that is shown under your account, you can press the accept button and go to the receive payment section for further processing accordingly. It is easy and fun, right?
